Cybersecurity expert advises us to be careful in clicking links

"Malicious tagging" can be avoided by not clicking on strange links, especially on content tagged by strangers. There are reports from several users that they are receiving random tags on an "adult video" from total strangers or someone who even didn't know through Facebook. Upon clicking the link, a pop-up window appears saying that you need to download a Flash Player update before you can watch the video.

These tagged posts are said to be malicious links that may cause cyber attacks. Yes, by clicking the link, you may be downloading malware on your device.

So what should you do if you receive a notification that seems doubtful and it did not come from your contacts? It is best advised not to click the link attached to the post and report it to Facebook immediately. Anyone can use the platform's tools to report any suspicious activity or content that violates community standards.

To remove the comment tagging and at the same time file a report, go to the post where you have been tagged in a comment. After that, click 'more option' and select Give feedback or Report this comment. Make sure to choose spam on report choices then click next. A 'remove tag' option will eventually appear then that's it.
