A battle royale set in the FFVII universe

Final Fantasy VII The Last Soldier is a free-to-play Battle Royale mobile game developed by Ateam Inc. and published by Square Enix. It is set 30 years before the events of the core Final Fantasy VII story. Players are placed in the role of a cadet of the Shinra Electric Power Company's elite fighting force SOLDIER. Notable members of SOLIDER are Sephiroth, Genesis Rhapsodos, Angeal Hewley, and Zack Fair. In-game, there are classes to choose from like Warrior, Sorceror, and Monk to name a few.

As per any battle royale game, you enter the battlefield with several other players. Over time the battlefield shrinks to restrict the players' area of movement and eventually force them to fight. Players can fight with melee weapons, guns, and even cast spells until only one remain. There are also boss monsters and mobs in the field to help you level up during the battle!

Android users in the US and Canada will be able to join the weeklong closed beta starting on June 1, 2021. Those looking to participate in the beta can sign up until May 28 via the Google Play Store.
