In China, Xiaomi has just launched the new FlipBuds Pro true wireless earphones with Active Noise Cancelling. The buds and the case are rounded in shape and is coated with a high-gloss nano NCVM process. The company is proud to say that the shape has undergone 5,000+ human ear tests, 10,000+ user research, and more than 20 rounds of modifications to ensure a comfortable wearing experience. The round shape reflects Xiaomi's new logo.
Inside the earbuds are 11mm super dynamic drivers with a speaker impedance of 16 Ohms. The headphones have been professionally tuned by Xiaomi Audio Lab and are equipped with three microphones for front-feed, back-feed, and for calls.
It is the first device to be equipped with the Qualcomm QCC5151 flagship low-power Bluetooth audio chip. This chip can finely process external environmental. sounds and accurately capture human voice while separating external noise to achieve clear calls. The chip also allows for a noise reduction capacity of up to 40dB while supporting sound pass-through mode. Users can have more control using the XiaoAI app.
The chip also supports aptX Adaptive Dynamic Codec protocol and Bluetooth 5.2. This means that the new earphones support a low latency connection that is best for gaming and ensuring the audio and video synchronization when consuming video content.
This low latency function is currently supported by select phones that include the Xiaomi MIX FOLD, Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi 11 Pro, Xiaomi 11, Xiaomi 10 Ultra, Xiaomi 10 Pro, Xiaomi 10, Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, Redmi K30S Supreme Edition, Redmi K30 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and more models are being adapted.
The earphones are rated up to 7 hours of playtime without noise cancellation and up to 5 hours of playtime with noise cancellation turned on. When used with the case, the earphones can last up to 28 hours without noise cancellation. The case charges via the USB-C port and thru wireless charging. Five minutes of charge can offer up to 2 hours of playback.
Another key new feature is that the FlipBuds Pro supports a dual device intelligent connection which allows users to seamlessly switch between paired a paired smartphone and a paired laptop or even share audio output between two people.
