Microsoft to announce the NEW version of Windows this June 24!

Microsoft Vice-President Yusuf Mehdi teases the announcement of a new version of Windows that is set to be unveiled this June 24!

Microsoft released Windows 10 back in July 2015. Six years later, the Redmond-based company is finally announcing a new version of Windows. This was confirmed by a quoted tweet by Microsoft Corporate Vice-President Yusuf Mehdi.

This invitation came a week after company CEO Satya Nadella said “Soon we will share one of the most significant updates to Windows of the past decade to unlock greater economic opportunity for developers and creators. I’ve been self-hosting it over the past several months, and I’m incredibly excited about the next generation of Windows. Our promise to you is this: we will create more opportunity for every Windows developer today and welcome every creator who is looking for the most innovative, new, open platform to build and distribute and monetize applications. We look forward to sharing more very soon.”

TheVerge reported that Microsoft is planning to detail it's Next Generation of Windows' where both CEO Satya Nadella and chief product officer Panos Panay are set to present.

GizmoChina says that there are speculations with the new version will launch as Windows 11 as the teaser tweet said that the event is scheduled for an 11AM time slot. Whether or not it will be called Windows 11 or not, this new version is expected to bring both visual and under the hood changes. It may also come with features that have been taken from the now-discontinued Windows 10X operating system.

The GIZGUIDEPH team is personally excited for the next version of Windows.
