A wild Snapdragon phone appears!?

GizmoChina reports that a new and mysterious gaming smartphone from ASUS on China's TENAA certification agency. What makes this new phone stand out is that instead of the company's ROG branding, it has the Qualcomm 'Snapdragon' branding at the back.

According to the TENAA listing, this new smartphone carries the model number ASUS_I007D which also matches the smartphone with the codename VODKA that was recently spotted in the kernel source code of the ROG phone 5. GizmoChina speculates that this device could be the rumored Qualcomm Branded gaming phone.

The listing also reveals key specs like the 6.78-inch OLED panel, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, 16GB RAM, 512GB internal storage, and 3,840mAh battery. At the back are a 64MP + 12 MP rear camera setup and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the right side is a smooth surface while on the left is the SIM tray, volume rocker, and power button. Lastly, the phone will run on Android 11 OS.

As of this article's writing, there is no other information about this phone.
