Philippines' top mobile maker realme recently revealed that the realme 8 5G has sold out within the first few hours of its exclusive Shopee launch.

The company hasn't shared the exact figures, but they claimed that the realme 8 5G has sold out after every flash sale throughout the day. realme also said that the handset generated "remarkable sales" from realme stores and partner dealers nationwide.

Our guess? If these claims are true, this success is likely due to the phone's ultra-competitive specs for the suggested retail price of PHP 11,990 and the early bird discount of PHP 1,500 to bring its price to just PHP 10,490.
