Promising hardware internals, battery life, and extra features

Compared to its predecessor OPPO Watch, the Watch 2 has some significant upgrades. It has the same Apple Watch-style design and retains the squared-off design with two right-sided buttons providing access to the menus and watch functions.

This new wearable in 42mm and 46mm sizes, but the tech giant also offers an eSIM compatible version and a Bluetooth-only model, which is limited to 42mm. The 42mm model has a 1.75-inch 372 x 430-pixel resolution display, while the 46mm model has a 1.91-inch panel with 402 x 430-pixel resolution. Both variants boast of a curved AMOLED display clocked at 60Hz, rated at 326ppi.

The company made the most improvements on the watch's internal hardware since it is now powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset, instead of  Snapdragon Wear 3100. The Oppo Watch 2 runs Oppo’s Android-based ColorOS, not Google’s WearOS.

Another highlight of this watch is the battery life. OPPO claims that it can last for 16 days under its power saver mode. In regular use, the Watch 2 can last up to four days on a single charge. VOOC charging is included, which can top up the battery in mere minutes.

It packs several features such as 24-hour heart rate tracking and SpO2 monitoring is supported alongside the usual suite of sleep tracking, stress tracking, and more. Moreover, there are also over 100 sport tracking modes available, with 5ATM water resistance allowing for swimming with a built-in GPS.
