Motorola Edge 20 Pro with 144Hz screen and SD870 SoC is coming to the Philippines, priced at PHP 29,995

Apart from the Edge 20 Fusion, Motorola Philippines recently announced that the Edge 20 Pro will also be available in the country soon.

Motorola Edge 20 Pro is a premium handset boasting a sleek glass and metal design, a 6.67-inch large OLED display with 10-bit colors, 144Hz extra-smooth refresh rate, HDR10+, In-Display fingerprint scanner, and a punch-hole housing the 32MP selfie camera with 4K video recording support.

Under the hood, it is powered by the speedy 3.2GHz 7nm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor with Adreno 650 GPU. Unlike in India where they only got the 8GB/128GB variant, the local version of the Motorola Edge 20 Pro arrived with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

It also has 4,500mAh of battery capacity that can be charged via USB-C using its 30W TurboPower power brick.

For cameras, it goes with a 108MP f/1.9 with PDAF, EIS + 16MP f/2.2 119-degree ultra-wide-angle with macro mode + 8MP f/3.4 5x periscope zoom with OIS + LED flash at the back. This has had up to 50x digital zoom and up to 8K video recording support.

This runs with Android 11 out of the box with up to 2 major Android OS upgrades and 2 years of bi-monthly security updates.

It also has Lenovo's ThinkShield for mobile, designed to deliver business-grade security and manageability on Motorola smartphones.
