realme GT Neo2 with SD870 and 120Hz AMOLED panel launches in India!

realme has just announced the realme GT Neo2 for the Indian Market.

New upper mid-range contender?

After weeks of teasing, realme has officially launched the realme GT Neo2 in India. This comes after the announcement in China last September 2021.

The realme GT Neo2 will feature a large 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 1300nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Inside is the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor, Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1, and a 5,000mAh battery with 65W ultra-fast flash charging via USB-C.

At the back is a 64MP f/1.8 main camera, 8MP f/2.2 119-degree ultra-wide camera, and 2MP f/2.4 macro camera while in front is a 16MP front-facing camera.

Other features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. It measures 162.9 x 75.8 x 8.6mm and weighs 199.8 grams. It also has Tactile Engine 2.0, WiFi, 5G, 4G LTE, and Android 11 OS with realme UI 2.0 skin. It also has the GT Mode 2.0 tech that boosts the hardware to provide a better gaming experience.

Lastly, it will come in Neo Green, Neo Blue, and Neo Black colorways.

The device will be available for purchase in India this October 17, 2021. If purchased during the festive sale, both models will get up to a massive INR 7000 discount.

There is no word yet on Philippine availability and pricing.
