Outer packaging |
The Watch GT 3 46mm comes in a black box with hints of gold, a render of the watch, printed regulatory information and specs.

Inside the box, is the Watch GT 3, wireless charging cradle, and documentation. There are no extra straps for longer sizes included tho.
Build Quality/Design
|
Case top and bottom |
At first glance, the Watch GT 3 looks like a more polished version of the previous Watch GT 2. The case body is made of stainless steel while the bottom is made of plastic that holds the sensors. On top of the case is the touch screen with a glass panel.
Thematerials used make it solid to touch while making it lightweight. The fit and finish of the metal case and metal buckle are superb.
|
Left and right sides |
On the left side of the case is a smooth finish while on the right side is the crown and the main button. The crown rotates smoothly and can be pressed as another button.
|
Strap outer and inner sides |
The strap can easily be removed to be washed or replaced. It is made of a malleable rubber that is lightweight and soft to the touch.
The buckle is made of stainless steel which adds to the premium look and feel of the wearable.
|
Bright and vibrant screen |
It uses a 1.43-inch 2.5D AMOLED color touch display.
The 46mm watch measures 45.9 x 45.9 x 11 mm and weighs 42.6 grams without the straps.
Initial set-up is easy and straightforward. However, you will need to download the Huawei Health app. It is available for Android 6.0 or later, iOS 9.0 or later, and HarmonyOS 2.0 or later.
During the initial set-up, we immediately noticed the responsiveness and accuracy of the touch screen.
Huawei says that the key features of the Watch GT 3 are the all-day blood oxygen monitoring (which is rare in 2021), long battery life, and advanced health-focused software features. The company says that the bigger 46mm can last as long as 14-days.
