OPPO A55s with Snapdragon 480 5G and 90Hz screen now official in Japan

OPPO A55s is a budget smartphone with an IP68 rating

It is available in Green and Black with an IP68 rating as well

First off, the OPPO A55s features a polycarbonate body with a rectangular camera bump housing the dual-camera setup and LED flash. It also has a punch-hole cutout and slim bezels at the front. One of the key premium addition here is the IP68 rating that is normally reserved for more premium smartphones.

It also has a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Inside, it has the 5G capable 8nm 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 octa-core processor, Adreno 619 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, and a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

For cameras, it has a dual-camera setup with a 13MP f/2.2 main camera + a 2MP depth sensor with LED flash. It also has an 8MP selfie camera.

It runs Android 11 out of the box with ColorOS 11 on top. It also has 5G, dual-band WiFi, 4G with VoLTE, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB-C.

The OPPO A55s is available in Green and Black. It will be starting to sell in Japan starting November 26. Local price and availability are yet to be confirmed though. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
