TECNO Mobile announces 2021 Movie Masters Short Film Contest
TECNO Mobile invites aspiring Filipino filmmakers to join the 2021 Movie Masters Program Short Film Competition using the CAMON 18 Premier.

TECNO will hold a filmmaking contest!
Through original videos filmed with the CAMON 18 Premier, the program's goal is to highlight moving moments from ordinary life.
Those who are amateur Filipino Filmmakers whos at least 18 years of age are encouraged to join the competition.
The TECNO Mobile Movie Masters Program will accept entries from November 12 to November 20, 2021. To join, participants must submit a one-minute video explaining why they should be considered for the program. The participant should speak directly to the camera for a portion of the video, while the remaining 1-minute running time can be used creatively and can include samples of previous works and other similar footage.
The rules are simple, all submitted works must be original and free of copyrighted audio, offensive language, pornography, and obscenity. You can submit your video at this link and must include information such as "participant's name, contact details and copy of any valid ID.
The entry deadline is November 20, 2021, at 11:00 p.m. Entries will be judged on their ability to tell a story, their inventiveness and originality, and their level of engagement.
The mobile brand will choose three semi-finalists for the Movie Masters Program from all of the submitted videos after the Qualifier Round. Each semifinalist will get a Php 25,000 cash reward as well as a CAMON 18 Premier smartphone.
Semi-finalists will be required to make short videos based on the theme. “Capturing Moving Moments in the Philippines.”
All semifinal videos must be shot on the CAMON 18 Premier smartphone, allowing participants to see the Movie Master smartphone in action and try out its Super Steady Shot feature.
The participant's hometown or city, to depict what life is like there; an upcoming holiday such as a vacation, get-together, or celebration that they are looking forward to; or daily life scenes showcasing real people around them are all acceptable subjects for submitted videos.
The Grand Winner will be chosen from among the semi-finalists with the greatest video. The winning video will be chosen based on its technical quality, which includes cinematography, editing, background music, sound effects, and other audio, as well as its storytelling, creativity, and originality, and engagement.
The Grand Winner will receive a Php 300,000 film grant, as well as the opportunity to work with renowned local director Paul Soriano and his team at TEN17P to create a short film on capturing moving moments in the Philippines. While life may shock us, we are all capable of conquering problems in order to live a solid life with a lovely and stable future to look forward to, according to the completed short film, which will be released globally this December.
A runner-up will be selected and granted the title of TECNO Mobile's Tourism Ambassador for 2022. The runner-up will be awarded a Php 40,000 Holiday Travel Fund.
