Tim to help victims of Odette

Tim said that Apple will be contributing to relief, recovery, and long-term rebuilding efforts. He ended the Tweet with the hashtag #OdettePH, the local name of the above-mentioned typhoon.

Tim hasn't shared how much the company will donate and who will they ask locally to aid properly yet. But, any help is help and it is a lovely gesture especially in times like this.

Also, since they are a HUGE company, likely, when they say help it means help.

To those who missed it, Apple is one of the biggest companies in the world with a market cap of about USD 2.46 trillion (around PHP 123 trillion).

In the Philippines, the death toll cause by Typhoon Odette has risen to at least 375 deaths. Just recently, several regions in the country have been placed under a state of calamity.

Odette is one of deadliest typhoons to hit the Philippines in recent years. It left homes, hospitals, and schools to shreds in greatly affected areas. It also tore off roofs, uprooted trees, topple concrete power poles, and flooded villages, and more as well. Many of its survivors are currently desperate for urgent supplies of drinking water and food.
