According to Opensignal, Globe recorded an improvement of 65.2 percent uplift improvement in the mobile multiplayer gaming experience.

Apart from gaming, Globe also placed second globally in 5G improvement over 4G for Video Experience with an uplift of 32.8 percent better than 4G.

The Philippine-based telco giant said that they were able to achieve this feat due to its network upgrade and modernization efforts.

In particular, the telco claimed that they have extensive investments in 5G, which can deliver internet speeds up to 100 times faster than 4G. This tech has less lag, making it suitable for video streaming and gaming.

Having a telco with a good 5G experience is important these days as 5G users consume more content on their smartphones at a higher quality for up to 2.7 times more mobile data than 4G users.
