For Fixed Broadband, the country experienced even greater results. From rank number 72, it is now up by 9 spots at number 63. The average download speed in the country for Fixed Broadband users is now 50.26 Mbps while the upload speed is 44.06 Mbps. The latency is just 6ms. We are even higher than several countries like Austria, Italy, and Greece, among others.

Ookla notes that they measure unique results before coming up with these numbers. The firm also measures the Speedtest Global Index Data on Median Speeds as it better reflects the speeds a user is more likely to achieve in a market.

For Mobile, local telco player Smart recently revealed that it has the highest Speed Score of 68.78 for the last 3 months of 2021 in the Philippines. Rivals Globe and DITO recorded 32.67 and 24.47, respectively.
