TECNO officially unveils the new TECNO POP 5 Pro Android Go smartphone with the MediaTek Helio A22 in India!

A new budget TECNO phone!

In India, TECNO has launched the new TECNO POP 5 Pro. In front, you will find a large 6.5-inch 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1600 x 720, 480 nits peak brightness, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

Inside is the aforementioned 12nm MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core processor, IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and 6,000mAh battery.

At the back are an 8MP f/2.0 main camera, secondary AI camera, and dual-LED flash while in front is the 5MP f/2.0 selfie camera on the notch with an LED flash on the side.

Other features include a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.

Running the show is Android 11 (Go Edition) with HiOS 7.6 on top.

The phone will arrive in either Ice Blue, Deepsea Luster, or Sky Cyan colorways.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

TECNO POP 5 Pro - INR 8,499 (around PHP 5.9K)

It is now available for purchase at retail stores in India. There is no word yet on International or Philippines pricing and availability.
