vivo Y55 5G with Dimensity 700 and 5,000mAh battery launched in Taiwan!
vivo has brought the vivo Y55 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 700, 4GB RAM, and LCD Display to Taiwan.

A new arrival in Taiwan!
In December 2021, vivo launched the vivo Y55s 5G in China. A month later, vivo has officially unveiled the similar spec'd vivo Y55 5G in Taiwan but with a smaller 5,000mAh battery.
The new vivo Y55s 5G features a large 6.58 inch LCD display with 2408 x 1080 resolution. Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, 4GB RAM, 128GB of storage, and 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging via USB-C. The 4GB of RAM gets an additional 1GB of RAM by borrowing from the internal storage.
At the back are a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, 2MP f/2.4 macro, and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor with LED Flash while on the notch in front is an 8MP f/1.8 selfie camera.
Other features include Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Under the hood is Android 11-based FunTouch OS 12.
The phone measures 164 x 75.84 x 8.25 mm and weighs 187 grams. It is available in either Blue or Black colorways.

The device is now listed in Taiwan but there is no date of availability yet. There is also no word yet on International or Philippine pricing and availability.
