Nokia G11 launched with 90Hz screen and up to 3 days battery life

HMD launched a more affordable device called the Nokia G11, it's like the G21 but with lower RAM, storage, and cameras.

The G11 has an almost identical design with the G21, it poses a sleek look and metal frame, and while at the back cover you'll see the textured finish that will come in two color options namely the Charcoal and Ice colors.

It features 6.5-inch HD+ 1600 x 720 LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Although the company said that the touch sampling rate will only work on supported apps and scenarios.

It also uses the 1.6GHz 12nm UNISOC T606 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. As we mentioned above, this smartphone has a lower memory configuration. It now has a single 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.

Moving to the battery department, it also has a 5,050mAh capacity it also shares the same highlight as the G21 where it has 2 levels of battery optimization that will further extend its juice for up to 3 days as Nokia claims. It also has support for 18W fast charging but the phone will ship with only a 10W power adapter.

As for the cameras, it now has 13MP +2MP macro + 2MP depth and an LED flash. For selfies, it is equipped with 8MP.

Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint reader/home button and face unlock for security. The brand also said that you can unlock your phone even when wearing a facemask.

For connectivity, it has Dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The handset will also run with Android 11 and is upgradeable to Android 13 and will receive three years of security patches.
