ASUS ROG Strix G15 with AMD Ryzen 6000 CPUs now official in the Philippines!

ASUS ROG Philippines just announced the new Strix G15 laptop that features AMD's Ryzen 6000 series CPU. It has a starting price of PHP 69,995!

It features the new AMD Ryzen 7 6800H!

The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a slim gaming laptop at just 2.72 cm at its thickest and weight of 2.3kgs. It features a 15.6-inch IPS screen with 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution, a 300MHz refresh rate, 3ms response time, 100 percent sRGB coverage, 73.35 percent Adobe RGB coverage, adaptive sync, and Dolby Vision support.

Inside, it has the AMD Ryzen 7 6800H CPU with up to 4.7GHz max boost clock, 3.2GHz base clock, 8 cores, 16 threads, 16MB L3 cache, and up to 45W TDP. For graphics, it starts at a 4GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 and up to an 8GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GDDR6 GPU. It can have up to 16GB DDR5 RAM with up 4800MHz frequency, 512GB PCIE4 SSD, and a 90WHr battery with Type-C fast charging.

To keep it cool, ROG's Intelligent Cooling is touted to have been improved even further. The Strix G's CPU has liquid metal on it for better heat transmission. When compared to typical thermal pastes, this ROG states that this thermal compound lowers temperatures by up to 16 degrees Celsius, allowing for higher sustained boost clocks and preventing fans from ramping up as rapidly, resulting in lower noise levels.

On all 2022 ROG Strix G laptops, the 84-blade Arc Flow Fans feature variable thickness blades to increase airflow while decreasing turbulence and noise. Anti-dust tunnels discharge dust from the system to avoid accumulation over time while up to four exhaust vents provide enough ventilation. For a totally silent experience, ROG's 0 dB Ambient Cooling shuts the fans down completely under light workloads in Silent mode.

For aesthetics, it has per-key RGB lighting with Aura Sync customizability. It also has Smart Amp speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity is also improved with WiFi 6E.
