Alongside the realme 9 SE, the company also launched the vanilla realme 9 5G.
Just like its siblings the realme 9 joins the trend of color-shifting design from the rear, it comes with two color options of Stargaz White and Meteor Black.
It has a display of 6.5-inch with 2400 x 1080 resolution, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 90Hz refresh rate, and 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, it is equipped with a 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G octa-core processor and Mali-G57MC2 GPU. It is then paired with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It also has up to 5GB of virtual RAM.
The phone's battery has a 5,000mAh capacity with 18W USB-C fast charging capability.
For the cameras, the vanilla realme 9 uses 48MP for the main sensor, followed by unspecified megapixels for macro and depth shooting. For selfies, it has a 16MP sensor.
Another feature will be the side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
As for the connectivity it has WiFI, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB-C port.
The smartphone runs realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.

The handset is now available on the brand's India website as well as in Flipkart and select offline stores.
