Huawei X Manila Bulletin "Great Pictures Made Easy"

On March 31, at 6 p.m., Manila Bulletin's Earth+Lens 2022 will conduct a smartphone photography and videography workshop in collaboration with Huawei Philippines and the Department of Tourism. Bolichie Suzara and Silver Belen will teach photography and videography, respectively, while Issa Litton will moderate.

As a background, Bolichie Suzara is a professional photographer. He will go through fundamental principles such as grid utilization, exposures, ISO, focus, and white balance. Attendees should be able to simply and confidently explore and alter the camera settings on their smartphones to create the looks they wish by the end of the course. Suzara will also ensure that they leave with some practical photographic advice gleaned over the course of his lengthy career.

Silver Belen, on the other hand, is a film and video director. Belen will share his tips for planning and shooting videos, with a focus on how to make your travel and everyday videos look more "pro." While getting to his level takes years of practice, Belen hopes that attendees will leave the workshop feeling confident that they can capture their memories on video with precision, quality, and good timing.
