Rode now makes headphones!

Australian audio technology company Rode has launched the new Rode NTH-100 Professional closed-back over-ear headphones. The company is renowned worldwide for its microphones and audio mixers for consumers and professionals.

The new NTH-100 feature 40mm Dynamic drivers with 5Hz-35Khz frequency response, 32Ohms impedance. It has a sensitivity of 110dB/V, 1700mW/1 percent THD @1kHz maximum input power, circumaural ear coupling, 20dBA ambient Noise Attenuation and Dual TRRS Cable attachments.

The headphones measure 80 x 190 x 188 and weigh 350 grams. The included cable has a length of 2400 millimetres. Included in the box are the 2.4M headphone cable, 3.5mm to 1/4-inch Adaptor, Storage pouch and COLORS ID set.

Rode says that the unique ergonomic earcups are contoured to the shape of the ear for 'superior' acoustic performance. These earcups are made of memory foam that provides comfort and isolation from external news. 

The earpads and headband cushion are covered with the premium Alcantara fabric commonly found in sports cars and in high-end fashion.

The headband is made of high-grade stainless spring steel with a durable coating that Rode claims will make sure the NTH-100 will last a long time.

Lastly, the NTH-100s have a modular design where the earpads, headband, and cable are all user-customizable with the included four colors.
