#VPCA2021: realme is the Philippines' mobile brand of the year!

At the 3rd VP Choice Awards last night, the Philippines' number 1 selling brand realme was hailed as the "Mobile Brand Of The Year" for 2021. This is the second consecutive win of realme as for the same award.

To win this award, the 3-year-old brand bested other global mobile brands like vivo, Xiaomi, Samsung, OPPO, and TECNO.

Last year, realme launched competitive smartphones left and right from its C series, bang-for-the-buck narzo line, realme 8 series, and realme GT Master Edition, among others.

To those who missed it, VP Choice Awards (VPCA) is an award-giving body, which gives recognition to the brightest stars in the showbiz industry, to brands who excel in their field, and to deserving individuals who show brilliance in their craft.

The voting system is 30 percent Facebook Shares, 20 percent Instagram likes, 30 percent by VPCA's editorial team, and 20 percent are from the panel of experts.

Other winners in the tech category of VP Choice Awards are realme ambassador Alodia Gosiengfiao as the "Online Streamer Of The Year", Shopee as the "Online Shopping Portal Of The Year", and Sharp as the "Home Appliance Brand Of The Year".
