vivo launches the new vivo S15e equipped with the Samsung 5nm Exynos 1080 chipset and 6.44-inch AMOLED display in China!
Alongside the launch of the X80 series, vivo also launched the mid-range vivo S15e. The new mid-ranger is equipped with a 90Hz 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 2404 x 1080 resolution.
Inside is the Samsung made 5nm Exynos 1080 SoC, 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,700mAh battery with 66W fast charging via USB-C. vivo claims that it takes no more than 18 minutes to charge the S15e's battery from zero to 50 percent.
At the back of the phone are a 50Mp f/1.8 main camera, 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera and 2MP macro camera with an LED flash. While on top of the display is a notch that houses the 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
From the images, the phone does not look like it has a 3.5mm audio jack. Other features include NFC support. It will be running Android 11-based OriginOS under the hood.

Pre-orders for the handset will begin on April 30 in China. There is no word yet on international pricing and availability.
