vivo Philippines today launched its newest affordable smartphone with stylish looks and big battery capacity in town, the Y01.

A new stylish big-battery budget phone in the Philippines!

vivo Y01 is a beautiful-looking budget phone with a glass-like curved back design available in Elegant Black and Sapphire Blue colors at the back. It has a gradient finish with neat-looking line patterns and streaks.

The device comes with a slim design!

In front, it uses a 6.51-inch LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ resolution with a notch housing the 5MP selfie camera. This display is large enough for multimedia consumption on the go which could be good for watching YouTube clips or even Netflix. The display of the device also has auto brightness adjustment and Eye Protection Mode.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the 2.3GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8320 (680MHz) GPU. It is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage.

The battery capacity is rated at 5,000mAh and it could be charged by a micro USB 10W charger.

vivo claimed that it is capable of 18.74 hours of video streaming and 7.89 hours of intensive gaming even when the phone is running on full power with WiFi connection, 50cd/m2 screen brightness, and 63dB (A) volume. 

On the back, it is using an 8MP f/2.0 snapper with AF and LED flash. This camera also has a bokeh mode even if it only has a single camera configuration.

The device also has face unlock, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

The device run with Android 11.1 (Go edition) with  Funtouch OS 11.1 skin. Since it is running with Android Go software, expect it to be reasonably smooth even if only has 2GB RAM. It even has the iManager to keep your phone in good shape always.

The device is now available at vivo stores nationwide. The company also shared that the first 1,000 customers to purchase it will get FREE FOMEE earphones.

It will be exclusively available for two weeks starting April 30 at the vivo Shopee ecomm store online.

After that, it will also be released on Lazada.
