PUBG Mobile gets a Neon Genesis Evangelion Crossover Event

PUBG Mobile has a new event in partnership with Neon Genesis Evangelion. The game will have the Eva Units in the game as well as different skins.

PUBG Mobile X Neon Genesis Evangelion Event is underway

Neon Genesis Evangelion-themed skins and items are up for grabs!

According to PUBG Mobile, the Neon Genesis Evangelion collaboration will bring a variety of themed in-game items such as skins featuring iconic character plug suits, themed armor, parachutes, backpacks, and more. In addition, the developers also teased a "special buddy" that will accompany players in-game.

The PUBG Mobile crossover will also unlock a completely new game mode on May 19, dubbed "Core Circle," which has players supporting Eva Unit-01 in the destruction of an Angel, one of the franchise's most renowned villains.

This is a great collaboration although a bit out of place in PUBG's universe. But this isn't far from unexpected due to the number of money collaborations like this bring in. For instance, COD: Warzone recently had a King Kong vs Godzilla event too. Fortnite has been a cesspool of collaboration with skins from a myriad of franchises like God of War, Marvel, Street Fighter, and Naruto for instance.
