Ahead of its August 3 launch date, OPPO's partner brand OnePlus shared the camera setup and a few samples taken by the 10T.
First, the OnePlus 10T will feature the 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with a large 1/1.56 inch sensor size for better images even in the dark and OIS + EIS for stabilized photos and videos.
Sony IMX766 is the same sensor found on 2021 high-end OnePlus devices. There is no HHasselblad branding as well.
The main shooter will be assisted by an ultra-wide camera with a 119.9-degree field of view with macro support for super-close-up shots.
The company also claimed that the OnePlus 10T can capture 10-bit colors for 64 times more color than devices with 8-bit color support. It will also have OnePlus's new Image Clarity Engine (ICE) to process images faster, HDR 5.0 + TurboRAW algorithms for improved HDR performance, and an alleged "Pro-grade" Nightscape mode.
The rest of the specs are still unknown for now. The handset will go official on August 3, New York, at 10:00 AM EDT.
