China's largest smartphone maker vivo is with all the photographers celebrating "World Photography Day" this Friday, August 19, 2022.

In a statement, vivo said that the company is celebrating the art and science of photography by giving Filipino photographers a lineup of smartphones with advanced camera features. It added that with its devices, vivo wants to unleash the photographer in its users and allow them to take high-quality, professional-grade photos with ease and at a more affordable price.

How? Here are the recent camera innovations of vivo:

1. The ZEISS partnership - To those who missed it, vivo is currently in partnership with legendary optical systems maker ZEISS. vivo's partnership with ZEISS aim to advance camera feature.

Thanks tot his partnership, vivo's flagship imaging skills were greatly boosted because of ZEISS' optical technology and experience. The cooperation gives vivo fans access to "bleeding edge" mobile photography experiences provided by technology such as the ZEISS Biotar Portrait Style, Extreme Night Vision, ZEISS T*Coating, and many more.

Its current flagship line is the vivo X80 Series is one of the phones co-engineered with ZEISS. 

The X80 series starts at PHP 45,999.

2. The vivo V1+ chip and IMX866 RGBW image sensor - vivo's X80 series is also using the vivo V1+ imaging chip that helps its cameras perform better by helping reduce noise, optimize images, and capture night scenes better, among others.

Moreover, the vanilla X80 is also the first to the first to use the IMX866 RGBW sensor, one of Sony's best yet. This sensor helps in capturing clear images even in the bad lighting conditions.

3. Other killer camera features -  The vivo X80 series also has the Gimbal Stabilization technology complemented by Hyper-HDR-Style Panning for shooting clear portraits and videos even if the subject is in high-action motion.

Users will now have a steady and crisp output despite shaking or sudden movements with the Gimbal Stabilization technology.

4. vivo is a selfie expert too - vivo is also highlighting its vivo V23e 5G that is using a LARGE 44MP front camera with advanced self-vlogging features. It also boasts super clear and natural-looking images designed to capture subjects in full detail.

It also has the Steadiface Selfie Video Shooter feature that helps keep the video subject still even when the background moves while the Dual-View Video feature allows the users to take videos using the front and rear cameras simultaneously.

The vivo V23e 5G is now more affordable at PHP 17,999.

Y76 5G has an AI Editor

5. AI Editor - vivo smartphones like the vivo Y76 5G with a 50MP main cam + 16MP selfie cam also have an AI Video Editor that allows users to easily trim, add music, text, and themes, or apply filters on their favorite videos. With this, you may not need to download a separate app as well.

The vivo Y76 5G also recently received a price cut. It is down to just PHP 14,999 from PHP 16,999.
