As a quick recap, Apple introduced the iPhone 14 series alongside the new Watch SE, Watch Series 8, and the Watch Ultra.=, earlier this month.

All three models come with the new S8 chip, crash detection, and support for Cellular connectivity. 

The addition of the latest S8 chip on the Watch SE can be seen as a huge push for smartwatches. The S8 comes with the SiP advanced dual-core CPU that the company says is 20 percent faster while offering the new crash detection feature and international roaming support. 

The new Watch SE's design is mostly similar to the previous generation but it now has a nylon composite back which makes it lighter. It comes in either a 40 or 44 mm Aluminum case. Like the previous generations, it also comes with Blood Oxygen, ECG, and Heart rate monitoring. It is also equipped with the new temperature sensors that Apple says can help monitor a woman's menstrual cycle.

While the Watch Series 8 looks very similar to the Series 7 but with the addition of the new features the S8 brought to the Watch SE.

The main attraction is the all-new Watch Ultra in a 49 mm titanium case with a revamped digital crown, a new action button, and stereo speakers. The display is protected by a sapphire crystal and has a 2000 nit peak brightness. It comes with Cellular and supports L1 and L5 GPS frequency. It is EN 13319 certified which means it can survive a depth of 40 meters and can act as a diving computer.

The Watch Ultra comes in either the Apline, Trail, or Ocean bands that cater to the different extreme environments.

Lastly, the Watch SE and Watch Series 8 are rated for 18 hours of battery life while the Watch Ultra can last for 36 hours.

All three models are now available for purchase from the Apple Philippines web store. At the time of this article's writing, with a Metro Manila address, the Watch is expected to arrive in early November.

Meanwhile, our reliable industry tipster told us that the iPhone 14 phones will arrive in the Philippines this October 14.
