DJI announces the Osmo Action 3 with improved RockSteady 3.0!

DJI just announced the new Osmo Action 3 camera with a streamlined design, a 12MP camera, and RockSteady 3.0 EIS. Read on for more information!

DJI Osmo Action 3 is now official, priced at USD 330!

It can be oriented in landscape or portrait mode!

DJI Osmo Action 3 features a 12MP f/2.8 1/1.7-inch sensor with a 155-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. It also comes with a new protective frame with two attachment points so that it can be oriented horizontally or vertically. It also comes with a Multifunctional Battery Case and a 1.5-meter Extension Rod Kit.

It also comes with a 1.4-inch touchscreen on the front and a 2.25-inch touchscreen on the back. It can shoot 4K120fps at 16:9 or 4K60fps at 4:3, and 1080p240fps at 16:9. There are also different slow-motion modes and Hyperlapse at up to 4K resolution.

The updated RockSteady 3.0 electronic picture stabilization in the Osmo Action 3 operates at up to 4K120fps. The horizon will remain level even if you rotate the camera 360 degrees thanks to the return of HorizonSteady, which can only be used at 2.7K60fps. As a new middle ground, HorizonBalancing can correct tilt up to 45 degrees and operates at up to 4K60fps.

Its wide operational temperature range of -20 degrees to 45 degrees Celsius with the included battery is even more astounding. Enduro Extended cold weather batteries from GoPro are often sold separately. Please be aware that the batteries may only be charged in temperatures between 5 and 40 degrees Celsius; they cannot be charged below freezing. It also comes with fast charging support.

Without a case, the camera is waterproof and can go down to a depth of 16 meters. If you need to go deeper, DJI does provide a specific case. Underwater and during the transition to the surface, a color temperature sensor aids the camera in producing a more accurate color.

Gorilla Glass shields the two touchscreens and the camera lens, and it can withstand 1.5-meter drops. Additionally, the screens include a hydrophobic covering that enables you to operate them even when your hands are wet.

The camera contains three built-in microphones for audio, and you can connect other microphones via the USB-C to a 3.5mm converter. When participating in live streams and conference calls, the Action 3 can also be utilized as a webcam to provide crystal-clear video and audio.

DJI Osmo Action 3 is now available at the DJI store online.The USD 330 package includes the camera, protective case, and some mounting accessories. The Adventure package includes two extra batteries and a 1.5-meter extension rod.
