HONOR Play 6C with SD480, 90Hz screen now official

HONOR just announced the Play 6C that is geared as an entry-level smartphone. It has an SD480 processor, a 90Hz screen, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The HONOR Play C features a back panel with a rainbow-like sheen, a square camera island with a dual-camera setup, and curved corners. It also has a 6.5-inch LCD screen with 1600 x 720 HD+ resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a dewdrop notch for the selfie camera.

Inside, it has the 2.0Ghz Snapdragon 480 octa-core processor, Adreno 619 GPU, up to 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. For cameras, it has a dual-camera setup with a 13MP main camera + 2MP depth camera with LED flash. It also has a 5MP selfie camera.

It runs Android 12 with Magic UI 5.0 on top. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 5G, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB-C.

China price with direct-to-PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

HONOR Play 6C 8GB/128GB - CNY 1,299 (around PHP 11K)

The HONOR Play 6C is available in Magic Night Black, Aurora Blue, and Titanium Silver. Local prices and availability are yet to be confirmed. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
