Research firm Canalys has just revealed the top 5 smartphone vendors in the Philippines last Q3, 2022.
realme is still on top, vivo is surging!
As expected, realme is still on top. During the quarter, the company captured 19 percent of the local market share despite suffering a negative 28 annual growth. The highlight of realme in the said quarter is its launch of the powerful realme GT Neo 3, a bang-for-the-buck premium mid-ranger. |

The surprise is vivo. From failing to enter the top 5 in Q2, they climbed all the way up to number 2. The brand captured 17 percent of the share with a massive 88 percent growth. During the quarter, the company released the Y16 and the capable vivo V25 series.
Steady at number 3 is OPPO with 16 percent of the pie and negative 15 percent growth.
At number 4 is Transsion (itel, TECNO, Infinix) with 16 percent of the market share and 79 percent growth. Samsung is at number 5 with 13 percent of the share and negative annual growth of 18 percent.

Weirdly, Xiaomi failed to enter the top 5.
