To be exact, his words are "our share from 75 percent in G S22 goes up to global share in G S23." Palkhiwala also noted that Qualcomm expects a strong second half of the March Quarter (Q1 2023) due to the first-month sales of Samsung's upcoming flagship series.

The devices are expected to use the soon-to-be-launched and alleged Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

The South Korean firm also entered a multiyear partnership with Qualcomm to bring Snapdragon chips to all premium Galaxy phones globally.

However, there are still reports stating that top-level Samsung execs still want its next flagship to feature an Exynos chip even if the Samsung MX (Mobile eXperience) division is disappointed with the performance of the in-house chipset in the Galaxy S22 smartphones.

Meanwhile, reports from Korea claimed that Samsung will hold a press event in San Francisco in the first week of February. Then the product will be available on "Friday in two weeks," suggesting the February 17 date next year.

Chosun publication of SK also noted that the company has taken into account the downturn of the smartphone market that might continue next year which motivated them to launch the S series sooner.

There are no other details about the devices yet. Stay tuned for more info.
