vivo Y02 with circular camera design arrives in PH for just PHP 5,299

vivo Philippines today launched its newest budget smartphone in the country called the Y02.

The vivo Y02 is a slightly toned-down version of the Y02s, but with an arguably nicer design.

Highlights of the Y02

It features a 2.5D unibody design with a matte finish at the back that is resistant to scratches and fingerprints. This also highlights a circular camera hump containing the main camera and the LED flash in a rounded rectangle island that looks minimalist and stylish. The frame is also boxy reminding us of higher-end smartphones.

In front, the device uses a 6.51-inch LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ resolution and a V-shaped notch housing the 5MP selfie camera with beauty and face unlock tech.

Under the hood, it is powered by the aging 12nm Helio P22 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8320 (650MHz) GPU, 2GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, and a large 5,000mAh battery capacity with micro USB charging and 5V/1A reverse charging feature.

It also has an 8MP f/2.0 main camera, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

The handset runs with the lightweight  Android 12 (Go edition) OS  with Funtouch OS 12 skin on top.
