Razer's webcam for streamers!

It's true that there's a market for content creators or streamers. After all, they need a camera that can capture the best quality possible for their viewers. Most substitute it using a DSLR camera but that can cost them a fortune.

Razer says the Kiyo Pro Ultra Webcam can be an alternative but won't be as expensive as a real DSLR.

So the new product uses a Sony Starvis 2 sensor with a size of 1/1.2 inch. It is the largest yet from the brand and it comes with a big rounded body while the lens resembles a DSLR.

It also has an f/1.7 aperture which according to the brand, is capable of shooting in low-light scenarios and can even make use of the bokeh effect. That is particularly a feature that streamers may prefer since they want the focus on themselves and then blur out the rest behind them.

Another shining factor is the ability to shoot 4K videos uncompressed however it is limited to 24fps only. If users want a more stable capture they'll have to trade the resolution to 1440p and get 30fps. Likewise toning down to 1080p can achieve 60 or 30fps with HDR enabled.

In addition, the brand also equipped the webcam with a built-in microphone as well. It can be set up easily via plug and play while the Synapse companion app can enable users to modify digital zoom, enable AI to face tracking feature, shutter speed, exposure, onboard memory, and more.

Rest assured we will update you once it arrives here.

Stay tuned.
