Smart registers over 7M SIM cards so far

PLDT's wireless unit Smart Communications has registered more than 7 million subscribers in the first 10 days of SIM registration.

More SIM cards are now registered!

On December 27, 2022, the company rolled out its SIM registration portal, allowing Smart and TNT subscribers to seamlessly register their SIM cards.

Aside from online registration, Smart also deployed booths and touchpoints across the country to help facilitate SIM Registration for all subscribers needing assistance. It was also first telco player to set up assisted booths in several areas in Luzon, Iloilo, Cebu, and the Davao Region.

Here's how you can register:

1. Visit the portal at http://www.smart.com.ph/simreg
2. Input your information and upload your valid ID
3. Wait for an SMS confirmation and get 3 GB FREE Data

Making it more accessible, SIM registration for Smart users is available through the following:

Smart Stores nationwide

Smart Hotlines (call *888 via Smart/TNT mobile, or 8888-1111 via landline)

Smart Facebook Messenger Chatbot

Smart GigaLife App (downloadable on the App Store and Google Play Store)

Postpaid users only need to confirm the personal information and IDs they submitted for their postpaid plan application through a confirmation text to 5858.
