OnePlus Cloud 11 event revealed several devices and one of them is its 2nd generation of Pro earbuds.
First of all, the charging case appeared in a slim and compact design while also incorporating similar colors of Green and Black used in the OnePlus 11 and the Pad.
The earbuds use dual drivers with sizes 11mm and 6mm which are tuned by Hans Zimmer, a Hollywood music composer known for movies like The Dark Knight Trilogy, Dune, Top Gun: Maverick, and more.
They offer adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) of up to 48dB to eliminate background noise and like most earbuds, this also uses transparency mode if you want to be aware of your environment when playing music.
Another highlight is the addition of 360-degree Spatial Audio for an immersive listening experience.
The Buds Pro 2 now has its own equalizer called the Master EQ offering fewer low frequencies versus the default setting and you can even set it to have a brighter or wider sound stage. The brand claims these Master EQs should let users enjoy a "full orchestral sound of classical and Multidimensional score of an action film".
On the connectivity side, it has Bluetooth 5.3 and can be synced up to two devices simultaneously. By the way, the supported codecs are AAC, SBC, LC3, and LHDC. The brand also promised there will be Bluetooth LE Audio support that will arrive later this year through an OTA update.
For battery, OnePlus says these can last up to 6 hours w/ ANC and 9 hours if turned off. Combined with the charging case it can go up to 39 hours in total. For charging it supports wired fast charging and wireless charging.
Lastly, the earbuds also offer the IP55 rating to fend off some water splashes or dust.
