HONOR announced two smartphones today namely the Play 7T and the Play 7T Pro.
To start, the vanilla model Play 7T uses a modern unibody metal design with shiny reflections on its cover and comes with Black, Silver, and Blue color choices.
It highlights the new 7nm 2.2GHz MTK Dimensity 6020 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, which is the upgraded Dimensity 700 series processor.
HONOR continued that it uses the 6.74-inch LCD (IPS) panel with 1600 x 720 HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 90Hz refresh rate.
The phone is equipped with 8GB RAM and two storage options of either 128GB or 256GB, a 6,000mAh battery with USB-C 22.5W fast charging.
For cameras, it has a 64MP primary shooter and is accompanied by a 2MP depth helper. While the front-facing camera has a 5MP sensor.
Others mentioned are the speaker, 3.5mm audio jack, and side-mounted fingerprint reader for security.
Next is the HONOR Play 7T Pro which bears the same processor, RAM, and storage options as the phone above.
The difference lies with the design, screen, battery, charging speed, and cameras.
If you take a look at the back, you'll see the two sensor rings intertwined in the elliptical camera island. While the color options are Silver, Green, and Black.
Anyway, the LCD panel is now 6.74-inch in size but the resolution gets higher at FHD+ 2388 x 1080 while retaining the 90Hz refresh rate.
The battery is toned down to 4,000mAh however the charging speed is nearly doubled at 44W HONOR SuperCharge.
Meanwhile, the primary sensor is now 50MP alongside a 2MP depth shooter while the selfie cam gets slightly higher at 8MP located in the centered punch hole.
HONOR also mentioned that both devices run Android 12 OS with MagicUI 6.1 skin overlay.

The pre-orders for the two devices are now available in China and the sale begins on April 4. Meanwhile, there's no official statement yet for HONOR if it will come to the Philippine market.
