At the OPPO MWC 2023 booth last week, the global China-based electronics brand showcased the Wi-Fi 6 Router AX5400.
What made it unique? The OPPO Wi-Fi 6 Router AX5400 is one of the most stylish routers we've seen arrived in a cylindrical body with hidden antennas. It even has the so-called Hyper-flue Cooling design that lights up to show a cool smoke-like red to a blue hue.
It supports WiFi 6 with 2.4GHz + 5GHz dual-band support and high-gain antennas + OPPO's self-developed anti-interference algorithm + network directional speed-up technology for wider coverage with enhanced stability and faster speeds.
The hidden antennas include 4x high-gain antennas. It also has 6x independent signal amplifiers and a next-generation 2.5G adaptive port. It supports WAN and LAN connections.
OPPO also said that the device's internal structure also allows it to dissipate heat faster ensuring fast always-on connectivity always.
According to OPPO, it supports up to 256 devices connected at the same time. According to the company, its WiFi signal is capable of being transmitted over long distances (not mentioned how long) and it supports the O-RouterBoost network directional acceleration tech which can quickly connect OPPO devices with ColorOS 13.
This device is just as big as our WiFi mesh at home making it even more impressive.
There is no word about its price and availability details yet.
