Nothing Phone (1) tops AnTuTu for mid-range phones (Feb 2023)
The first smartphone of Nothing ranks number one in AnTuTu's list of Mid-range devices for February 2023.
To recap, the Phone (1) uses the 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ 5G octa-core processor with Adreno 642L GPU. Its 8 or 12GB RAM uses LPDDR5 type while the 128GB or 256GB storage uses UFS 3.1. This hardware manages to score 567 points in the AnTuTu claiming the top spot.

It's no wonder though since the rest of the list mostly used the base version Snapdragon 77G such as the realme GT Master getting the no. 2 spot with 544,652 points and Poco X5 Pro for number three with 543,048 points.
Meanwhile, the Mi 11 Lite 6GB/128GB variant sits at number 5 with Snapdragon 780G scoring 533,034 points besting the top 6 to 9 with smartphones equipped with SD778G with higher RAM and Storage.
The only MTK SoC on the list is the Dimensity 1080 which the realme 10 Pro+ 5G 8GB/128GB model uses. It managed to score 510,812 points in the benchmark app.
In AnTuTu's claims, they said that MediaTek is going to bring another new processor that may replace the SD778 chip to give users more options.
