Twitter Blue is worth PHP 600/month in PH

Twitter users now have the option to subscribe to a more exclusive experience while using the social media platform through Twitter Blue.

Based on the information posted on the Twitter Blue tab on the platform, a month’s subscription is worth PHP 600. An annual subscription is worth PHP 6,300, which is 12 percent cheaper.

"Blue subscribers with a verified phone number will get a blue checkmark once approved," Twitter said.

Twitter first teased the launching of the paid subscription service in the Philippines in February.

Aside from the blue checkmark, Twitter Blue users are also able to post longer videos, edit a tweet up to five times within 30 minutes, undo a tweet, see lesser ads on their timeline, set their profile picture to an NFT they own, customize how their Twitter app icon displays on their phone, and be prioritized in reply ranking, among others.

So far, the subscription service is available on the web, iOS, and Android in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the UK, Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
