REDMI Turbo 5 Max with "flagship experience" teased, to launch this January

Xiaomi recently confirmed that the REDMI Turbo 5 Series will be unveiled this month.  A new teaser revealed that one of them is the "Max" variant.

I used Microsoft Copilot to translate the Chinese text to English. From the poster, it reads "2026 mid-range performance battle," suggesting that the company is confident about the capabilities of this phone against the competition. The poster also has a not-so-subtle text below the "Max" branding that reads "Win."

The caption said that it has "Max-level performance, battery life, and flagship experience" in the CNY 2.5K (around PHP 21K) price segment.

According to leaks, the device is expected to feature a metal frame, flat display with rounder corners, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and a next-generation MediaTek chip (possibly the upcoming Dimensity 9500e).

Internationally, it might be rebranded as one of the POCO X8 Series.

There are no other details about the phone. Expect to learn more about it in the coming days.
