LAVA announced a new smartphone called the Blaze 2 featuring entry-level hardware.
The smartphone offers a premium design with a modern touch on its glass back cover. It also comes in three color choices: Blue, Black, and Orange.
Flipping it up, you'll see a 6.5-inch LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. You will notice that it uses centered punch-hole but thick bezels on the sides and on the chin.
Inside, the phone uses a 12nm UNISOC T616 octa-core chipset with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, 6GB RAM + 5GB Virtual RAm, 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, and 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
For the camera, it is equipped with 13MP main sensor + a 2MP AI helper and an LED flash. On the other hand, the selfie shooter uses an 8MP sensor.
Other features mentioned are the 3.5mm headphone jack, side fingerprint reader and AI Face unlock for protection.
For connectivity, it has 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM (nano) support.
As for the software, the LAVA Blaze 2 runs the Android 12 Operating System.

It is now available in India and can be bought through Amazon. However, there's no news yet for other markets. Stay tuned.
