vivo Y78+ 5G launched with 120Hz curved AMOLED, and SD695!

vivo announces a new mid-range device under the Y series called the Y78+ 5G.

The phone came in a rectangular camera island and a modern design. While facing it upward you'll see a dot display with curved AMOLED and a size of 6.78 inches. It has Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate and a 93.3 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Inside, it is powered by a 6nm 2.2GHz Snapdragon 695 octa-core chipset, 8 or 12GB LPDRR4X RAM, and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

For battery, it has 5,000mAh with USB-C and 44W fast charging.

On the camera side, the phone uses 50MP primary sensor paired with 2MP depth helper. While at the front, it is equipped with an 8MP selfie shooter.

Other features noted are the In-Display fingerprint reader for security.

Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou.

For OS, the phone runs Android 13 with OriginOS 3 skin overlay.

The new vivo Y78+ is going to be available on sale in China beginning April 26. No word yet if it will arrive in the Philippines though so stay tuned.
