ZTE launched a new smartphone and a tablet called Axon 50 Ultra and Axon Pad, respectively.
One of the main highlights of the phone is the two-way satellite messaging via the Beidou satellite (BDS). This allows users to send or receive SMS text in locations without network connectivity.
Moving forward the phone boasts a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 100 DCI P3 color gamut, and 10-bit colors.
While inside, it is equipped with a 4nm 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core chipset with Adreno GPU. However, the brand did not disclose the size of RAM and storage but they mentioned it's going to feature LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1, and a ZTE-made security chip with hardware-level encryption.
For battery, it comes with a 5,000mAh capacity with 80W fast charging.
On the camera side, it uses the 64MP Sony IMX 787 primary sensor with OIS + 50MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom and 50MP ultra-wide snapper.
Another detail specified is the OS which is Android 13 with MyOS 13 skin overlay.
Moving forward, ZTE also announced the Axon Pad tablet. It features a 12.1-inch LCD (IPS) screen with 1600 x 2560 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a slim profile with 6.5mm thinness and weighs at 605 grams only.
Inside you'll see a similar SD8+G1 chip and again there's no mention of RAM and storage information.
Meanwhile, the tablet gets a massive 10,000mAh size with similar 80W fast-charging brick.
Other info noted is the stylus and smart keyboard which will be sold separately and that it will come with 5G connectivity and Android 13 with MyOS 13.
Unfortunately, the brand hasn't said about their price and availability as well.
We will let you know once there are official announcements from them
Stay tuned.
