Motorola announced several products today and two of them are entry-level smartphones with 5G and 4G connectivity.
Starting with the Moto 5 G 2023, the phone sports a 6.5-inch LCD with HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, it is powered by the 8nm 2.0GHz Snapdragon 480+ octa-core processor with Adreno 619 GPU. The chip is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
While the battery has a 5,000mAh capacity which charges using USB-C and a 15W power adapter.
For cameras, the phone is equipped with 48MP f/1.7 primary sensor plus 2MP depth and 2MP macro shooters. While at the front, it uses 8MP for selfies.
Other features noted are the water-repellant rear cover, 3.5mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, nano SIM, and E-SIM support.
Moving forward, Motorola also announced a much lower model called the Moto G Stylus. This one highlights the 6.5-inch LCD (IPS) screen with a similar HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate but it comes with stylus support.
Inside, they equipped it with a weaker processor which is the 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. The phone however gets a similar 4GB RAM but the storage is toned down to 64GB expandable memory.
When it comes to the battery, it has a 5,000mAh size and charges with a 15W fast charger.
For cameras, the phone uses 50MP primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture coupled with a 2MP macro helper. While the selfie shooter has 8MP.
Other features noted are the side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
For connectivity, it has 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and nano SIM support.
For OS, the two phones run Android 13 with a near-stock Android experience.

Both devices are now available for pre-order, and they will be available this May in the US. No word yet for PH release though so stay tuned in the meantime.
