New CEO's role revealed
In a Tweet, Musk announced that NBCUniversal ad sales chief Linda Yaccarino is the new CEO of Twitter.
I am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter! he said.
He noted Yaccarino will focus on business operations, while he will focus on product design and new technology.
This week, the billionaire revealed that he has found a new Twitter CEO and that "she will be starting in ~6 weeks."
Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app, Musk said.

According to CNN, Yaccarino earlier announced that she was leaving her role at NBCUniversal.
