In Antique, the telco recorded a consistency score of 69.68 percent, 66.13 percent in Samar, 60.42 percent in Leyte, and 59.46 percent in Eastern Visayas.

To recap, Ookla calculates a consistency score based on the percentage of a provider's data samples that meet minimum thresholds for download and upload speeds, set at 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload for fixed networks.

Globe said that it remains steadfast in its pledge to provide unparalleled consistency to broadband customers across the country.

The telco noted that they continue to invest significantly in network builds to deliver fast and dependable connectivity to households and enterprises in the Visayas region and the rest of the nation.

In just the first quarter of 2023, lobe built 220 new cell sites and upgraded 3,000 mobile sites to LTE, and rolled out 18,000 fiber-to-the-home lines.

Last year, it spent USD 1.9 billion (around PHP 106.6 billion) on capital expenditures. For the next 2 years, they allocated an additional 2.3 billion (around PHP 129 billion) to further improve and expand its network infra.

In 2022, 86 percent of its capex was dedicated to fulfilling data requirements and ensuring that customers can access top-notch digital solutions and connectivity regardless of their location. The company constructed 1,702 new cell sites, upgraded 13,600 mobile sites, and installed 2,267 5G cell towers.
