AMD launches the Ryzen 9 7945HX3D
As the name suggests the highlight will be the 3D V-cache technology for gaming laptops. Which in theory should improve the power and efficiency when playing or running demanding games.

| The performance |
It comes with 16 cores and 32 threads with a 2.3GHz base clock and with a max boost clock of up to 5.4GHz. The processor also has 144MB of L3 cache and 55W+ TDP.
AMD claims this new processor is faster than the regular 7945HX processor by 11 percent at 70W and 23 percent at 40W. Another statement made by AMD is that this is currently the world's fastest mobile gaming processor.
For the iGPU, it comes with the Radeon 610M with 2 RDNA 2 compute units.

As for the availability, it is expected to debut on ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 X3D with 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and RTX 4090 GPU. The laptop is slated to launch this August 22, 2023.
