ASUS ROG Ally gaming handheld is now available at GameXtreme shop in the Philippines.

ROG Ally is now available for pre-order in PH!

To recap, the portable console is geared as a competitor to the likes of Steam Deck and Old Nintendo Switch.

Similarly, it comes with 4 directional buttons, 2 anti-drift joysticks, Xbox layout keys, and R1, R2, L1, and L2 buttons.

The ROG Ally

There are two firing speakers at the front and you will see the wide 7-inch LCD (IPS) screen with FHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the screen features 500 nits of max brightness, 7ms response, 100 percent sRGB color space, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Inside, the ROG Ally is equipped with custom Ryzen Z1 or Z1 Extreme processors.

The Z1 uses 6-core 12-thread Zen 4 CPUs with four RDNA 4 iGPU. While the Z1 Extreme has a more powerful 8-core 16-thread design with 12 RDNA 3 GPUs and 24MB cache.

In case those graphical powers aren't enough, ASUS says you can always partner it with the optional ROG XG Mobile equipped with RTX 4090 laptop GPU.

In terms of memory configurations, it has 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and choices of 256GB/512GB PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD of the 2230 size.

Docked mode

For battery, it is powered by 40WHr capacity which the brand claims can run 2-hour playtime in heavy triple-A titles and runs at 15W TDP. It can be charged using the 65W Power Delivery adaptor once you ran out of battery.

Other features mentioned were the dual-firing stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Hi-Res audio, dual fans, and copper heat pipe to keep the temperatures in check.

For OS, it runs Windows 11 with a special edition of ASUS Armoury Crate on top. This will also let you get Xbox Game Pass with a 3-month trial upon purchase.
